Clacton Youth Board
As part of our public outreach, CVST has helped establish the Clacton Youth Board to allow young people from across Clacton to come together and share their views on how future funding is spent and which areas of the town they feel could be improved.
Key themes from the feedback from the Youth Board meetings have included improvements to transport, an increase in local events and community activities, and more opportunities for young people.

Historic consultations
Community Consultation
Clacton Town Board completed a community consultation for developing its ten year strategic vision for the town and for the Love Clacton campaign.
This survey, run by CVS Tendring, directly engaged with over 600 community members and visitors to help provide valuable insight that will help Clacton Town Board and our local stakeholders work together to shape a vibrant, welcoming, and thriving Clacton — a place where people can live, work, and visit with pride.
The feedback revealed a community eager for regeneration of the town, with clear priorities around housing, health, transport, and the high street to improve the quality of life in Clacton.
Business Consultation
Alongside our Community Consultation, Clacton Town Board completed a Consultation to allow Businesses to influence the vision and help shape Clacton’s economic future.
This survey was led by Tendring District Council, who gathered priorities from local businesses both within the town centre and from further afield in the industrial estates. Surveys were delivered and collected face to face, and at targeted business events.
