Our plan to enhance life for Clacton residents

With a substantial £60million Government investment, Clacton is poised for a remarkable transformation through dynamic regeneration projects. Explore the ambitious Civic Quarter plans designed to rejuvenate the town centre. Enhancements include community hubs, imrpoved shopfronts, cleaner streets and public realm upgrades. These initiatives aim to foster a vibrant, inviting atmosphere, boosting community pride through strategic investments and enhancements.

Up to £20million over 10 years – Clacton is one of the 75 areas that will receive a share of the Government’s £1.5billion Plan for Neighbourhoods

A real partnership – Tendring District Council has received £20million for 15 projects as part of its Community Regeneration Partnership with the Government

£29.3million Clacton Civic Quarter – a new gateway into the town, funded by Levelling Up Fund, providing a library, learning centre, business units, homes and improved public space
